Hello world! – About Total Health and Wellness…

Hello world! Health and Wellness is a strong focus point of mine.

For many years – consciously at least for the past about 31 years, from the age of 40 weight loss and weight control has always been an integral part of my mission to consider my Total Health and Wellness at the forefront of my mind. I love cardio exercise and developed my own regime over time and also included jogging frequently as a way to accomplish weight loss and weight control. I began this quest when it became clear to me that I can no longer eat what I want and as much as I want and keep the belly fat away – it wasn’t happening anymore… Belly fat started adding slowly but surely!… It kind of staked its claim and made it clear that it wasn’t going to go away other than by forceful removal by implementing a healthy weight loss program and regular exercise. I must also say that this quest of mine started quite a number of years before the year 2000 when I happened to make the biggest discovery about what is good for my total Health and Wellness and in which Weight Loss formed an integral part.

Somewhere along the year 2000 someone mentioned that they had read this particular book “Eat Right 4 Your Type” and that it had a most profound impact on his or her health and wellness that included weight loss and weight control…and I just knew I had to get a copy of this book, which I did that very same day. Portion control is another very important concept that is clearly outlined in this book “Eat Right 4 Your Type”. If you are looking to eat right (for your type) and manage your weight then portion sizes and portion control need to form part of your daily eating plan.

Not only does “Eat Right 4 Your Type”  make for very interesting reading it also made me realize what the foods were that really made me sick from time to time (since childhood) and cause great discomfort through continuous heartburn all my life…that is until I read the book! Don’t get me wrong, there are numerous good books and good eating plans out there for Health and Wellness and Weight Loss, however, they tend to generalize and do not consider nor address the very important aspect, in my opinion, to also Eat Right For Your Type.
